Sjusjøen offers 350 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, and trails right by the apartment lead directly into the Birkerbeiner trail. The Natrudstilen Ski Centre, with nine slopes and four lifts, lies 6.5 kilometres to the south. In summer, you can hike around Lake Sjusjøvannet, bike along the mountain roads, or rent a canoe. Lillehammer's 22 kilometres away and well worth a visit.
