”We recently stayed at this hotel after a long 13-hour drive from San Antonio, Texas, with our family of four. Initially, we reserved a room with two wide beds, but to our pleasant surprise, we received an upgrade upon arrival. ”We found the cities to be in a great location clean comfortable and had a great restaurant.”

”We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.”

”Good-close to downtown and other sites. Breakfast was very good too!! Loved the coffee!! Bed-when we arrived at 630pm our room was not clean and ready. It was the last room and took 2 hours for us to get into the room. Wifi only works in the Lobby, not in our room. Ice machine located outside our door and very noisy. Phone not connected. Shower dials broken and about to fall off the wall. Housekeepers only left decaf coffee every time. Much improvement needed!!!!!”

”The property is huge which makes it difficult to find things and the staff was not all that helpful. The Starbucks is a poor representative of Starbucks. Breakfast pastries were dry and had no flavor. Our drinks were not what we are used to having. No taste.”

”Clean, spacious, relaxing vibe. Patio was beautiful, spent evenings with family out there. No trash cans on site other than small room trash cans, so you will need to bring bags and discard offsite. Enjoyed the stay though.”

”This is NOT a three star rating as posted by the questionable "Anonymous" reviews. We left after one hour due to what appeared to be blood stains on one of the lampshades, and just general uncleanliness. There was a pile of someones dirty clothes sitting in the hallway. There are many lodging options in Santa Fe - Pay the extra money and avoid this place. I have yet to see one positive review of this hotel that wasn't "Anonymous."”

”The hotel is clean and appears to be remodelled. the room is comfortable and the continental breakfast is fine. Nice and clean swimming pool”

”This place was awful the first room they tried putting us in was full of beer bottles and trash the beds weren’t made. So they switched us to another room the toilet hadn’t been flushed the door didn’t shut all the way. There was a used wash cloth on the sink. The parking lot had used needles in it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!”

”My wife and I stayed at this property visiting one of her lifelong friends. Plumbing in the shower /tub did not work. We reached out to management and they said that's just how old plumbing is. However, I own multiple rent houses and deal with these issues often. It was not the old plumbing. It's a simple fix of replacing the spout for the shower tub complex to work. Furthermore, upon leaving the owner called us and asked us to pay extra for a dog. We never had a dog and we were on our way to...

”The room was clean and the bathroom was updated, which was nice. Pool was closed indefinitely. Check in took a long time, the clerk had trouble processing a $100 cc authorization. The breakfast was average for this type hotel.”
