  • This property has it all on 4 acres, view of Lake Erie, peaceful stream and waterfall, vineyard, and quiet pond. Bald eagles soar daily along the shoreline and often perch in the trees on the property looking for their next meal. The lake house was completely remodeled in the Fall of 2022. Spacious kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 baths and 4 bedrooms. The location is the perfect weekend getaway for wine tours, fishing, or a longer vacation with many nearby attractions, beaches and wineries.

The house was perfect sized. The girls absolutely loved walking to the bench at waters edge each day to watch the sun set.

The lake house was a wonderful place for our family to vacation. We enjoyed all the surrounding towns and beaches( lots of sea glass finds) is this area. We loved sitting outside and listening to the bull frogs while having a breath taking view of the lake. The house was very clean and spacious.

It’s wonderful lake house , with access of vineyards, a lot of in-property viewpoints , scenic points for keeping busy with making good memories.

What an absolutely beautiful hidden gem. We are so lucky to have been able to stay in this home. The views are heavenly. You’re right on the lake. I spent most of my time outdoors enjoying the views. You are on a large pc or private property. Very secluded and safe area. Hosts go above and beyond to make sure your stay is peaceful and relaxing. The home has so much space to gather with friends and family. Lots of sleeping space. Large dining table. Comfy living room. Large open kitchen with views of the lake. An amazing wrap around porch on both levels. Outdoor seating. We are already planning our next trip back.

Wewanted a nice weekend get away and the privacy of this property delivered just that. Pair that with the great attractions and food in erie pa and it made a perfect vacation .

Girls weekend

Very comfortable spot. Perfect for a nice relaxing stay! The house was very clean, and we had everything we needed, We especially loved the coffee bar provided. We plan to come again!

Drifting weekend

A charming place to stay. We were at a drift event at Lake Erie Speedway (15min drive) so it was very convenient & quiet after a noisy day at the track. My granddaughter enjoyed seeing all the wildlife including a bald eagle.

Wonderful!

The house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures, very comfortable in every way and has a nice welcoming vibe. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely come again!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay @ the Lakehouse. Very comfortable stay for 4 couples. We visited during the winter for one of the Lake Erie Wine Events the location was perfect! Everything in the house was wonderful, comfy beds, nice stocked coffee bar. Nice big table for eating & game playing. Bathrooms were nice/clean and had toiletry amenities! Will definitely visit again’

4th of July stay

The house was very nice. Had a lovely view of the lake, and was close to anything you could need/want to do. The host was very responsive and accommodating. 10 out of 10!

trip to erie

Property is lovely, refurbished farm house. You advertised as bein g close to Erie, but we had to travel 45 miinutes back and forth to Waldemeer each day, and then into NorthEast for food. Loved the vineyards and the lake view. No extra charge for the large woodchuck that lives under your front porch.

Chocolate/wine trail.

We (5 older adults) enjoyed our stay in Ripley, very much. We loved the property and how close it was to all that we wanted to do. Every winery that we visited on this trip (12 of them) we friendly, clean, and had a nice selection of goodies to sample and/or purchase. We’re coming back!!!

Spring Break Trip

Planned on visiting my hometown of Erie and found that the nearby town Westfield was very nice, my main concern was that flies and ladybugs were somehow all over the top floor, I tried shutting windows and everything but they still ended up all over the place

Week-End for Sherman Rosie-Run Benefit

Last day of school for the kids and off we went for a fun get-away. Had a fire by the lake and took many pics of the beautiful moon over the home and sun sets on the lake.. Frogs in the pond was quite entertaining and saw Eagles soaring overhead most everyday! Fun-Fun-Fun Thank you :)

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations set by the listing photos and description. The house was not as clean as we anticipated upon arrival, which was disappointing.Additionally, the layout of the home was misleading and not ideal for a group stay. The primary bedroom is directly connected to what is presented as the kids’ room, offering very little privacy. The bathroom setup was also challenging, as the bathroom associated with the primary suite is shared with the entire second floor.Another surprise was the entrance to the home. Upon arrival, you walk into an enclosed porch area with exposed plywood, which was not accurately represented in the listing photos and created an unfavorable first impression.While the home may work for some travelers, larger groups or those expecting more privacy should carefully review the layout before booking. Given the cleanliness concerns and the discrepancy between the listing photos and the actual layout, we would not choose to stay here again.
