”The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. ”

”We arrived around 11:00 am, even though it was too early for check in. The owner allowed us to go ahead and park (for free) and he took our luggage up. We made the walk to town in 10 minutes. When we returned that evening, our luggage was in our room and the snacks and wine we brought were in the fridge. The room was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was extremely clean. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Noise from the street was minimal. We will definitely stay again!!”

”Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area.”

”The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night was noisy was irritating to say the least. We couldn’t work the heating system for the room. ”
