Experience an exclusively furnished, allergy-friendly, thatched-roof 5-star vacation home with a terrace and garden at our “Hyggehüs” vacation retreat, which was renovated and refurnished in 2026 with great attention to detail. The furnishings, the thoughtful touches, and the particularly well-designed safety concept were all selected so that during your stay, you can't only enjoy that special sense of hygge but also feel completely at ease and well taken care of.

The Location
The Frisian village of Risum-Lindholm offers good shopping options for your daily needs and invites you to explore the natural beauty of North Frisia by bike or through Nordic walking. You’ll be captivated by the vastness and natural beauty of North Frisia, which is special in every season. In the town of Niebüll, just 3 km away, you’ll find specialty shops and cultural attractions, such as a movie theater and museums. At the “Andersen-Hüs,” you can experience Frisian culture and language up close; in addition to concerts and guided tours, it offers you the opportunity to have a civil wedding ceremony here. Thanks to the vacation home’s central location, you can easily reach many attractive destinations, such as the Wadden Sea, the North Frisian islands and Halligen, as well as Denmark. Flensburg and Husum, located directly on the Baltic Sea and North Sea respectively, also offer great attractions and are just a 45-minute drive away. You can relax with a round of golf at the Hof Berg Golf Club, as the 18-hole course is only 13 km away. Eichhorn’s Hotel & Restaurant is 3 km away and invites you to enjoy a culinary experience. Our “Hyggehüs” is also ideally suited for dialysis patients due to its proximity to the dialysis center at Niebüll Clinic (2 km).

Amenities
The vacation home impresses with its cozy and exclusive furnishings, featuring a beautiful open-concept living area and an adjoining dining area. Immediately to the left of the entryway is the modern bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a sink. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living area and offers everything you need for a shared cooking experience: induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter size 4), and espresso machine (DeLonghi Essenza Nespresso), kettle, toaster, and plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. You can plan your day together at the dining table. In the living room itself, you’ll find a Samsung TV (50 inches), a corner sofa, and an armchair for relaxing on cozy evenings. From the living area, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the countryside and fields, as well as direct access to the south- and west-facing terraces. The lovingly maintained garden, featuring various seating areas and a beach chair, is available for your use and invites you to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee on sunny days.

The property can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms are accessible via the staircase to the upper floor. The bedroom on the right features a double bed measuring 1.80 x 2.00 m, a closet, and a flat-screen TV. The other bedroom has two single beds measuring 90 x 200 cm; this room is also equipped with a flat-screen TV.

The house’s additional safety features are particularly noteworthy: The upper floor features marked escape routes, including a window with a safety grille that can be used as an emergency exit. In addition, fire escape hoods are available in the sleeping area, which can provide additional assistance in evacuating the house in an emergency. A fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit are also provided in the house. Together with the exceptionally wide interior staircase, great emphasis was placed on a well-thought-out safety concept.

Special Features
In our non-smoking vacation home, you can park your car right next to the house on the driveway. Free Wi-Fi is provided for our guests. A washing machine and dryer are available in the utility room. Some windows have fly screens. There is a lockable bike storage room for bicycles you bring with you. There is also an electrical outlet there, so that e-bikes, for example, can be conveniently charged. The thatched roof ensures a pleasant indoor climate in both winter and summer.
