”Lovely quiet setting”

”Carpark numbers need repainting as it was difficult to find my carpark. Also the guest that came in after 11.30pm couldn't find hers abd woke most of us up yelling to find who had accidently parked in her car park 😳”

”About 7 mins from town. The motel is very close to NZCIS, good for a short stay. Has all the basic amenities eg cutlery, microwave (no stove), kettle, toaster, fridge. Shower had good pressure though for tall people could have an issue as the head was low in our room (not sure about others). Bed was comfortable and Netflix provided.”

”We had a amazing two nights at Finn’s ❤️ Both nights we made use of the restaurant for our dinners - food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thanks to all at Finn’s that we dealt with 👍😊❤️”

”I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying a week. Place is nice, clean, cosy, staff superfriendly, surroundings very beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of space. Dorm room was warm enough for me, I find most of the NZ hostels too cold on winter time. Moana Lodge is truly a home away from home and good place to stay if you need a break from busy Wellington. Only thing I wish to change is that they should have unlimited wi-fi., altough I did get as much those 1GB...

”Place was unmanned so was abit of a hassle to check in rooms very very dated shower leaking badly through the toilet wall. wall and roof paint was terrible the grounds where dirty. old mattresses dump down the side of the building the bath was capped off and only heating was a wherehouse heater for the whole appointment”

”Due to new management, we were informed on our check in that the lodge was undergoing upgrading and revamping of their accommodation. Staff was very friendly addressing me by my name which was lovely. Our room was very accommodating, with 2 brand new recliners, large spacious bed, kitchen facilities, lovely hot water for our showering so overall, we enjoyed our stay at a very affordable rate. We will definitely stay there again, and look forward to seeing the finishing touches to the property.”
