”We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). ”The cabin is extremely well-appointed and immaculate. The only thing we wished we had was more time to enjoy it! All appliances are brand new, with plenty of hot water and the heating system kept up with the 20 degree weather without issue.The scenery is amazing and during our week-long stay we were visited by three deer a couple of times and at least 6 types of birds. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck as much as we did the absolute peace and quiet, which made up for the 30 minute drive...

”Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

”Perfect place for our weekend getaway. Smooth check in, accommodations were clean and cozy. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend! Communication from the host was top notch! Got to meet the host as well! There is also a beautiful spa right next door! Plus, the friendly neighborhood cat came to say hello. Would definitely stay again!”

”This was our first rental situation, and it was better then i expected, it had everything you need to cook. And things for pets, we didnt bring any of our pets but it was really nice to see the stuff for the pets, it has some games and things, it was very nice to just get off grid and have real family time, and its close to the stores, but also very secluded! We absolutely love it! ”
