”Was as advertised. Basic accommodations that were clean and affordable, pared down amenities but really all I needed was a room and shower. The room I was in had a detached bathroom which I thought would be more annoying but really wasn’t. Only thing is the bathroom was freezing cold and would benefit from better insulation or a small heater. ”

”Room was very clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was good with hot choices and plenty of seating. Enjoyed the lobby area with complimentary coffee and fruit by the fireside late in the day. Starbucks and several eateries right around the corner. Easy walk to the Red Line Loyola station. Used valet parking which was very helpful. ”

”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

”Wow! My 1st time at this hotel! I stay in Chicago often but I have never experienced a hotel like this. Everyone working there were happy. They always were friendly & would say good morning. Even getting on an elevator; the staff was sweet. The breakfast was delicious & so many options. The hotel was SO clean. I was not expecting what was in my room. There was a stove, a dishwasher, immaculate bathroom, the bed was so comfortable & they had buttons by the bed to make the blinds go down. I loved...
