Barefoot Bliss is managed by Island House Vacation Rentals. The office is a 3-minute walk away, and guests will be provided with our local phone numbers and will be available via phone, text, as well as messaging. We greet all of our guests at the office so they know how to find us. Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and agree to our rental terms and conditions. Secure online payments for direct bookings are processed through a 3rd party payment processor, ChargeAutomation.

Barefoot Bliss is located in West Bay Village directly on Roatan’s West Bay Beach. It is an oasis of 8 privately owned homes directly on West Bay Beach on Roatan, Honduras. Each charming house was built in the traditional island style, with wood construction and spacious decks. All the houses are individually owned and therefore unique in their own charm and character. You will find each home fully furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Guests have access to unlimited wifi and there is cable TV in the living room. There are beach loungers on the beach for guest use.

The quintessential Caribbean cottage, 100 paces from the water, Barefoot Bliss is located in West Bay Village an oasis of privately owned homes on West Bay Beach. Previously Flip Flops, Barefoot Bliss has new owners and a new name. Just a moments stroll from bars and restaurants. Private and convenient, this location is unbeatable, close to the amenities of West Bay Beach yet secluded and private surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

Just 200 meters swim off the beach you will encounter amazing snorkelling & diving, exploring our reefs could not be easier!

This home offers an island style charm all of its own. It has a master bedroom with king bed & en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom can be configured as two twins or a King and extra guests can be accommodated on a Tempurpedic queen sofa sleeper or a full size futon sofa. There is a second bathroom with twin sinks and large shower.

Outdoors we have a screened porch with dining table, gas BBQ, grilling table and grill deck, a great place to kick back and grill under the stars.

A large, open dining area adjoins the fully equipped kitchen which leads through to the large living room.

Please note:  The house will be undergoing renovation beginning in May, 2025.  Please contact us for reservations after this date.

We will arrange your airport transfer to West Bay if you wish, we do so for the majority of our guests.
Everything on West Bay Beach is within walking distance, so there is very little need for transport. Should guests want to leave West Bay, water taxis are available to West End and regular taxis are easily obtained.

PLEASE NOTE: All Guests travelling to Honduras will need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months past the date of travel. UK citizens need to apply for a travel Visa to enter Honduras. Please ask for details.
