”The beds were comfy. The dining are is well designed and the waffles were yummy. You do need to get to breakfast early. The pool was fun. Having a fridge and microwave is very convenient. The location is great. Parking was simple. The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool area would be next level with the addition of a few palm plants. Overall we were happy with our stay.”

Laurie serving breakfast shared a room of amazing area knowledge during our time in the breakfast nook. ”The hotel was at great location with easy access to beach and restaurants. The pier that’s part of the hotel definitely needs some railings as it increases chance of accidents especially at night.”

”The property was magnificent. Our cottage had a perfect layout maximizing a small footprint perfectly so it felt roomy. The pool was clean, water temp was excellent. The outdoor space is all landscaped perfectly. The beach area was set up perfectly for viewing the sunset. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

”We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, the room/beds comfortable. Convenient to shops and the restaurant right next door was a plus. Gorgeous views! Very nice pool area. I was a little concerned about the highway but you can’t hear any traffic noise at all. Overall the property rates high on our list and I tend to be picky. Oh the hot water was pleasantly hot as I love a good hot bath! Highly recommend!”

”Nice location with all amenities in kitchenette. Breakfast was mediocre. Property was older, light in room did not work. Door looks to be broken into as no paint around lock. Pool towels were awful thin and scratchy. No pool bar as ad stated. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was bar food but adequate. A def 3 resort”

”Staff was very friendly and personable. Room was very clean. I found the website to be a bit deceptive with the photos and descriptions posted. Rooms may all be water “view” but not all are water “front”. Yes, there’s a view of Asateague Island and the marshes from the docks but you can’t see ponies from there—at least not w/o binoculars. It’s a good distance across that water!”

”While the front desk lady was kind she admitted she didn’t know much about the area when I asked about restaurants. The room was clean but old with no maintenance of the faculty’s age. Railings were loose for example. Needs some TLC”
