”My second time staying here. This is a near-perfect small hotel. Located right in the middle of SLO's wonderfully walkable downtown. My room was very large, with a very generous patio. Excellent shower, excellent bed. The place has the feel of a good place o work, a nice vibe. Restaurant is top-notch, especially for a hotel restaurant. One very small complaint. And this is for all hotel designers everywhere: Leave the lights alone. Use normal switches with rheostats. Don't make me study the...

”Kiva hotelli jossa uima-allas ja poreallas pihalla. Ainakin meidän huone (sviitti) oli siisti ja suhteellisen uuden oloinen ja ilmalämpöpumppu löytyi molemmista huoneista. Aamupala perustasoa Amerikan mittapuulla. Koko kaupunki (San Luis Obispo) oli kyllä tosi kiva.”

”Went to unlock my room and it wouldn’t open, until two tweakers released the deadbolt and opened the door claiming “the hotel double booked the rooms” before leaving. Not sure how but two people broke into my room before I was able to check into it.”

”The Garden Inn was nice small hotell near restaurants. Breakfast was homemade and very delicious.”

”Sadly this place is horribly dated and is in need of much upkeep. It is cheap though. ”

”air conditioning sucks, scenics are more like a painted delusion , interesting blind on the window, though, this time I found out that a bacon & egg plate at cowgirl cafe nearby is a better quality bargain than Louisa's Place downtown ”

”Classy place. Quiet. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only suggestion would be regarding the continental breakfast; the bacon was pretty undercooked. But everything else was great. Would definitely visit again. ”

”The staff at front desk was professional and honest. The AC was down and informed us we would be fully refunded if we didn’t want to stay However if we did check in knowing the AC was nonfunctional we had to pay. No hot water in shower so we were reimbursed $25. Plenty of parking. Plenty of pot smoking”

”The restrooms had less than half a roll of toilet paper each and didn’t have extra, towels were stained with red and brown so we didn’t use them. The power kept going off and the office was closed, we called the number they did answer once but the power kept going out and they stopped answering.”

”Quiet property next to a nice walking trail. Friendly staff. Clean room. Stayed for a weekend traveling with family. Nothing but positive things to say. I would not bother searching for other places to stay for future trips to the area. ”

”Loved my experience and the location. My room was perfect, enjoyed the hot tub and proximity to the beach. Also, was felt extra spoiled by all the extra goodies the staff wouldn’t stop giving us…will be back!!”
