”We had a fantastic stay at Joyce's, even though it was just for one night. The lady who checked us in was so welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately, I forgot to take note of her name, but I really wanted to recognize her for her kindness. We were tired and cold after a long day of travelling and driving, and all we wanted was to get comfortable and have something warm to drink. We requested an electric kettle and an extra bed, as we had an additional person with us. She kindly accommodated...

They even allowed us to add a guest at the last minute and arranged extra beds without any hassle. The washroom maintenance could be improved, but overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our stay.”

”It’s fairly obvious that this property is trying SO hard to cut all corners and save money. Saturday night in mid-October in Canada, and there are NO sports channels on the small TV in the room! No TSN. No Sportsnet. Could not watch crucial CFL football games. Could not watch any hockey! Could not watch the MLB playoffs. Pathetic! The complementary breakfast was just as pathetic. No fruit (not even an apple … NOTHING!) No pastries … not even a muffin! Egg patties, some kind of meat … bread and...

”We stayed in #14 cottage which is well-located at the beginning of the Cabot Trail and very close to Baddeck. The property is quite beautiful! The interior is adequate and has a kitchen and appliances, dishes and cutlery, and the beds are comfortable. There is a bath shower in the bathroom. We sat on the large deck adjacent to this cottage in the early evening sun which was pleasant and also sat against later at night to gaze at the stars.”
