The Space:
Completely renovated 1-bedroom in an old warehouse, this urban loft will be your home away from home! Brand new, from top to bottom, this loft features 18-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and very large thermal-paned windows allowing light to flood in. The fully-equipped large kitchen is outfitted with every amenity, including all kitchen utensils and supplies and a large island to prepare and enjoy meals. Great living room, with HD flat screen television with broadcast TV channels, Roku box, and wireless internet. Elegant bedroom features a comfy Queen-size bed with beautiful linens, 2 dressers, dressing mirror, bedside table, and huge closet. Roomy, luxurious bathroom features a huge walk-in shower with cascading shower head and dressing area and is stocked with fluffy towels. Secure building has 1 on-site parking space included, and the laundry room is just steps away from your door. Fully controllable heating and A/C in the unit. This wonderful 1-bedroom loft apartment at The 795 is the different lodging option for anyone requiring accommodations for short-term or extended stays while visiting Rochester. If you are looking for an alternative to expensive, inconvenient extended stay lodgings, then try The Loft at 795; a distinctively different accommodation experience. The 795 is located near a great selection of restaurants and shops and is only 2-block walk to Park Avenue, the hippest spot in the city. Easy on-off for the 490 freeway and only two minutes from downtown Rochester, The 795 is close to restaurants and shopping, cultural activities, YMCA fitness center, and public library.

Guest Access:
This unit is located in the ground floor, so no need to climb stairs. Easy access through the main front door or the rear door entrance by the parking lot.

Other Things to Note:
There is laundry available in the building with coin operated washer and dryer. ($2 wash , $1.75 dryer) Note: You must provide your own detergent and quarters if you are planning to use the laundry.

I have a lot to say about a one night stay. This is an honest review that I hope the Host reads and takes action so that the next guest has a better experience. If I could include pictures with this review, I wouldn't need to say a single word. Let me start with the good before I mention the disgusting. Good: * The location was perfect for our stay and easy to find * Parking was well marked and FREE! * The entire check-in process was smooth * Host was responsive to communication Disgusting: * There was a dirty mop bucket w/broom inside the door with a pile of dirt * We found bugs inside the kitchen drawers!!!!!!!!! * No dishwasher. Guests have to hand wash the dishes. Not very sterile and the cups still had coffee rings from a previous guest. * We found dirty washcloths under the sink * We found a dirty bath towel rolled up in a ball under the bath vanity sink * The shower caddy was covered in soap residue from previous guests * Floors were sticky and dirty. We found coins everywhere. * Outlets in the bathroom do not work. * Sofa and chair had smelly slipcovers that you are not allowed to remove, so we didn't sit on the furniture. Amenities that would have been appreciated: Box of tissues, clean washcloths I will say that the host did offer a refund if we hadn't touched anything, but we had used the toilet. We were only in Rochester for one night and had no spare time to research other options and still make our show on time. We decided to just grin and bear it.

The property was very accessible from the highway and while in a tight entrance, it turned out to be easy to get in and out of. We got right in and found it to be a comfortable spot to stay. Right near downtown and fit our needs fine. Would stay again if we return.

I don't know what this building used to be, but they've done a great job of converting it into spacious apartments. We needed to be close to downtown, so this worked well. Everything we needed for a 4-night stay. Nice neighborhood for walking nearby. We could hear some footsteps from upstairs, but quiet hours were observed. Management was pleasantly responsive to our questions.
