Rock Land Area Hotellit

”What a disappointment, Hotel Avisa was! We reserved a room with two queen beds, and asked for a second for a room with balcony. When we arrived, Muriel was manning the desk. He was unfriendly, and curt. We arrived at 10 till four and had to wait 10 minutes for a room to be ready. It was the middle of the week, Tuesday. We went up to our room and were disappointed. We did not have a balcony, or at least one we could stand on and had a view of the parking lot which was noisy. For $170 a night room...

”Tv remote control was missing and we didn't get it during the stay. The cleaner had left the work a little unfinished. Good place for the price. ”

”I had steyed there previously when it was Fireside Inn and loved my stay then. The updates now and a name change later, it is still fantastic and great! I will definitely stay again. The location to the Embarcadero and local places is excellent.”

”I don’t think there is a replacement for a front desk/lobby with coffee and tea service 24 hours. The one attendant was nice, when he was present. The remote for the fan didn’t work. It probably needed new batteries, but there was no one to ask at night. The property could use a microwave somewhere. It’s missing the extras that travelers like, such as a possible continental breakfast and snacks/fruit in the main “lobby”. The instructions for the patio fire pit were not helpful to get it...

”Just the refrigerator(s) need to be replaced. Ours didn’t work. It turned in but did not get cold”
