Se on ihanteellinen valinta perheelle tai kaveriporukoille rauhalliselle Oregon-rannikolle. Great rental and location near beach

This is a very nice rental and close walking distance to the beach. Love when a rental is fully stocked if you prefer to cook any meals. Wish were able to able to stay longer, but our vacation was ending.

Amazing stay

We had the most amazing time at this cute and cozy home. So close to the beach-we enjoyed walking there with our dogs every morning and sunset. The recently updated deck and fenced in backyard really made this place better than we could have imagined, and the pictures don’t do it justice! The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and the individual heaters in each room added additional comfort on the chilly, rainy nights. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!

Great Stay! Dogs highly recommend too!

My husband, 2 dogs and I loved our stay. The house was very comfortable and location was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Nedonna beach. We saw very few people on the beach and the dogs were in heaven running and playing. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of nice linens and towels. Upper deck is large and nice with stairs going to filled fenced back yard- perfect for dogs. Ample parking in driveway and hosing area conveniently located for getting the sand off. The kitchen was adequately stocked - anything we needed for our stay was there. If you're someone that has an issue navigating stairs- probably not the place for you as family room and kitchen are on second floor like many homes in the area. We loved the location and didn't want to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect respite for we 3 couples. The home was clean and the great room very nice for hanging out.

The company who facilitated the renting of this property, Envoy, did a good job of sending info emails as our vacation got closer. However, one of the emails was mixed up with another property and caused some initial confusion.

Cozy and thoughtfully furnished home

The house is on the smaller side, especially the additional bedrooms were quite cramped. We were a party of four with 2 pets. For the two of us who weren't in the main bedroom, we didn't have enough room to keep both our suitcases in the bedroom. On the plus side, the home was clean and very thoughtfully furnished. Everything you need for having a good time at the beach is provided in the home - beach towels, beach chairs, sports and games. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable time staying in this house.

Wonderful vacation home

This house was so special, so clean, and so well appointed with everything you’d ever need. It’s hard not to just drop a bunch of AWESOMEST HOUSE EVER exclamations into this review. Only complaint is that it isn’t my house because it truly felt like home. Plus the quick walk to the beautiful beach... or chilling on the deck... blissful tough choices!

Great owners, great house; Property management company was useless for the price.

Four stars for the home and owners; zero stars for the property management company. Four stars: The house was fantastic! It was well provisioned and above and beyond any beach house we've rented. The beds were very comfy, which is a rarity on the coast where most furnishings and beds look & feel like Goodwill finds. The owners really care about the house want to make the stay an experience to remember. Zero stars: The only complaint I have is regarding the property management company - Evolve Vacation Rental Network. They were useless, though they did manage to collect a hefty fee on the reservation. Also, their cancellation policy is probably the most aggressive I've seen in all the years I've been renting homes on the coast: a portion upfront (non-refundable upon clicking "Reserve") followed by the balance two weeks prior to your arrival (also non-refundable). If you rent from them, make sure your life won't change before you arrive. We also had a small issue at the house and needed help. We consulted the "instructions" for the house. Evolve's policy is to contact the owners of the house who were not local or available. We tried calling Evolve and did not receive a call back during the four days we spent at the house. It would be one thing if it was an inexpensive beach shack but this is a premium house with a premium nightly price tag. For that price, I expected some level of customer service during our stay or at the very least, not to be ignored. I don't think I'll rent a house from Evolve going forward.

Beautiful Home

The home was clean with many thoughtful touches for us as guests. Plenty of room for family and friends. Well equipped kitchen with deck perfect to entertain family or relax. Looking forward to staying here again.

Sweet and cozy

The house was sweet and cozy. It felt like home. I love that they had chemical free soap and shampoo. The tv took some patience to get online but it wasn’t too bad. The beach is down the street and it is perfect. Not too busy and beautiful grass dunes and drift wood foots everywhere.

Beautiful house! Kitchen had everything we needed and the house was well stocked with lots of thoughtful items like dog blankets, lotions, shampoo etc. The beach was a block away and was quiet and beautiful!!! We enjoyed nightly fires on the beach. Highly recommend this property.

Great spot for a getaway!

Really enjoy our stay. Even though the house wasn't right on the beach it was only a short walk away to a nearly empty lovely beach. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything you could need. The only negatives were that the 2 smaller bedrooms were really quite small. Also, when the towels were put away before we got there they hadn't been dried enough so I had to go through all the towels and dry them. Minor issue but was still weird that they were folded and put away pretty wet. Same with the floor mats in the bathrooms.

Modern but moldy odor. Lack responsiveness.

The Rockaway Beach House is well furnished, lots of home-away-from-home comforts, extra blankets, comfortable bed, kitchen condiments and baking supplies, its beautiful decorated, up-to-date appliances and tasteful done. This renovated beach cottage is visually pleasing and modern. Sadly, a strong moldy odor comes from the lower level. The odor permeates the towels and linens too. We narrowed it down to the washer. This smell is usually an indication of mold or bacteria growing. We would have loved to wash our clothes on this trip but decided against it for fear of the smell. The downstairs is pretty chilly compared to upstairs, cold and damp. Between the dampness and smell, it kept us away from enjoying the downstairs. The VRBO pictures are not 100% accurate, fireplace gone, and the room sizes are much smaller than anticipated, yet comfortable for two. We initially planned to invite friends to fill the three-bedrooms yet the upstairs would have been really crowded with more people. Even two people cooking at one time was challenging. Sadly, the owner and management team, Evolve, were impossible to reach weeks prior to coming. My initial outreach efforts were ignored, asking for an outdoor table, none was provided, which is a shame because the deck is big and attracts a lot of sun. We would have spent so much more time outside, if only there was a picnic table. I emailed and called both contacts, about the request, no response from either. Evolve provided the typically contractual paperwork and home access instructions, appeared ‘form-like” as well as informing me I lacked insurance coverage. I spent time to prove the coverage, purchased through VBRO’s reservation process, still nothing. Upon arriving at 8:30 p.m., it appeared the cleaners ran out of time. Sheets and bathroom rugs were hanging all over the lower level doors, still wet and drying so we were put to work doing someone else’s laundry. Also some towels were folded and put away damp. Later in the evening the cleaning woman came to apologize for not finishing. Outside of that, there was no personal note or communication from anyone to welcome us to this rental. Rest assured, this place is real, just not as I expected.

Great Location. Very cool style & decor

We visit the Oregon coast roughly once a year and this is one of my favorite homes to stay in thus far. Couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you for having us.

Fun times with kids and Grandkids

Short walk to the beach. Great deck for hanging out. Well stocked kitchen. Big screen TV ready to stream Netflix. Not far from Cannon Beach. Good times.

Excellent quite vacation

Property is very nice, almost everything looks recently updated. Close walk to the beach, maybe 2 minutes. The area is very quite and relaxing. Sitting on the deck in the morning is great! Of note, there are no stores within walking distance, but if you're looking for a great place to get away from the crowds, this is it!

Cottage?......more like a Castle!

What a great landing spot for our Wisconsin family of 6!(including 3 adult children and a son-in-law) that had just spent 4 days in Seattle for a family wedding The house is set in a quiet residential neighborhood that is literally a 5 minute walk to Nedonna Beach. If you want to relax for morning coffee on the deck/porch before venturing out for beachcombing or sightseeing this is the perfect venue. The interior is spotless and inviting in a contemporary design and decor that is relaxing and tranquil. The great room/kitchen was a pleasant gathering space for our needs and provided plenty of space to dine together then kick back and recharge for the next day's agenda. We didn't use the large TV(not a drop of rain during our 3 day stay) but it was standing by if needed. The town of Rockaway Beach is minutes away if you need groceries or souvenirs. With a good central location we were able to go north to Cannon Beach one day and south the next to Depoe Bay for whale-watching and lots of stops in between along the beautiful and unspoiled coastline.. It was close enough to Seattle that we were able to drive back our last morning to catch a 12:45pm flight back to the Midwest. It was a great choice for us!

Perfect

This was the perfect Seaside vacation. Yes! I just said that. Though this home is located in Rockaway Beach, it's the perfect home to vacation in no matter what part of the north coast you want to explore. My family and I are big fans of the Seaside area but our go to beaches are Short Sands Beach at Oswald West State Park, the beach at Hug Point and Indian Beach in Ecola State Park. They are all within easy driving distance no matter which end of this stretch of coast you are staying at. We also like to go crabbing at the Jetty Fishery which was right next door to the house. We left with a cooler full of crabs. You won't have to go far to find a beach. The entrance to Manhattan Beach State Park is located at the entrance to the housing development. Nedonna Beach is right behind the housing development. You can walk to the beach in just minutes. And lets not forget Rockaway beach, only a few minutes away by car. So much beach to explore, so little days to explore them all. As far as the house is concerned I would have to be very picky to find anything to complain about. Lovely kitchen, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, a very large bathroom and very large shower in the master bedroom. The bedrooms are on the bottom floor and the living room, dinning area and kitchen area are on the top floor. After many rentals over the years I can divide property owners into two categories that are very apparent as soon as you walk into the house. Those that treat their homes as nothing more than a cash cow and show no interest in updating the furnishings or worry about the quality of the interior decorations. And those that show pride in ownership and pour their heart and soul into the home. The owners of this home fall into the latter category. A well appointed and most comfortable home away from home. Great home close to beach

The home is well appointed and within walking distance to the beach. The owners have updated the home completely. The beds were comfortable. The only issue was the housekeeping.
