”Perfect for a two-night stay for a nearby concert! Very clean & friendly staff. Free breakfast was a plus & very good. Ample parking.”

”The room was very clean amd the beds were very comfortable. However, the AC wouldn't stay on and had to be switched on every 30 minutes. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee with a sign stating they are only required to offer the bare minimum. Ultimately, I would not stay here again.”

”Okay for a one night stay in order to be near family we were visiting. Room smelled musty, bathroom was good sized and seemed clean but room itself felt a bit shabby. Front desk staff member when we checked in was polite enough but not friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there.”

”This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”

”We stayed for a week earlier this month and truly enjoyed the experience From Christina to the front desk to the folk who attended to our room, we couldn't ask for better The newly renovated rooms was so nicely done that I even remarked that I that want that in our new home. Loved the comfort of the desk chair** Linens were high end .Met the owner during our stay-- so nice to be family owned instead of a chain,”

My only suggestion would be to address the odor in the lobby and hallways; perhaps a deep carpet cleaning would help, as the initial impression can be misleading. Even so, I enjoyed my stay and would return.”

”The Goodwin is a shell of its former self. Bar is not open on Sundays or Mondays, breakfast was worse than a Comfort Inn. Zero amenities. The Valet staff was wonderful. The rest of the staff was next to useless. Asked for 1 hour late check out and was just summarily told no.”
