Hotel itself is dated and could use a refresh. That being said, beds were very comfortable, towels clean and fluffy. Location was close to things.”

”There were a ton of kids staying at the place, but we were put on a floor without them, so it was a peaceful stay. Walking distance to a couple restaurants. Recommend this hotel. ”

”I was quite impressed with the renovation. The lobby and breakfast area were quite nice. My room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was cordial and friendly and always spoke as I passed through the lobby. I recommended the Hampton Inn Rocky Mount to my relatives visiting the area.”

”AD1 properties, y'all need to spend some MONEY! Staff was MORE than helpful, but the rooms, these definitely need upgrades. Warm cookies won't cut it anymore. After a 12 hour drive, my husband and I just wanted to decompress, shower and sleep. The small refrigerator was leaking so the carpet was completely wet. Had requested a King bed, which this was but transferred to a double. No complaints there, but the ac was blowing heat at 86 degrees on a HOT, N. Carolina night. Ugh...maintenance came...

”A coffee machine was available in the lobby. I left at 3am to beat traffic in Washington DC. It was exceptionally convenient that the staff directed me to the machine to fill my travel carafe the night before. Clean, comfortable. Fridge was available and turned on in order to recharge cooler ice packs and store food. I put a chair to block the direct airflow from the air conditioning unit. Best snowbird stay yet (Florida to New England).”
