Welcome to our brand-new, luxury cabin retreat in the heart of the breathtaking Red River Gorge! Nestled among the lush woods, our cabin offers the perfect blend of serenity and adventure for your getaway. With Muir Valley located in the world famous Red River Gorge just a short stroll away, you'll have access to world-class hiking, rock climbing, zip lining, underground kayaking, and other adventures right at your doorstep. Dogs are welcome in the cabin, however please note they are not allowed in Muir Valley. Muir Valley doesn't allow them so they can't go down to the hikes/crags with you unless you leave Muir Valley.

Four Bedroom Cabin with 2 Master suites on the first floor. The other 2 bedrooms are located in an open loft accessible by a spiral staircase. Please note the staircase is narrow and may be challenging for elderly and/or larger individuals.

Muir Valley is a beautiful hiking and climbing destination in the world famous Red River Gorge, Kentucky. There are several dining options within a short driving distance, including our following favorites:

• Miguel's Pizza - 1890 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376 - A popular spot among climbers in the Red River Gorge area, Miguel's offers delicious pizza, pasta, and other casual fare.

• Sky Bridge Station - 900 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376 - This restaurant is known for its gourmet hot dogs, burgers, and craft beer selection. It's located close to the Natural Bridge State Park.

• RedPoint BBQ - 356 Smith Rd, Campton, KY 41301 – Best BBQ and vibes in the Red, with a full bar and delicious desserts.

• Red River Smokehouse BBQ Address - 564 Natural Bridge Rd, Slade, KY 40376 – a good BBQ restaurant with easy access for its patrons.

• Red River Rockhouse - 4000 KY-11, Campton, KY 41301 - A cozy restaurant offering a mix of southern comfort food and international dishes, with vegetarian options.

The entry road to the property is unpaved and 4 wheel drive is highly recommended.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

We were headed down to check out my son’s property in the area so we had a nice family group.The minute you stepped in you were able to enjoy all the comforts of home.i was amazed at the amount of towels, the well equipped kitchen.We weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit or the grill but we did get in the hot tub each evening. I look forward to coming back and staying longer, it was a pleasure.

The best Cabin

We had the best stay! From us having to reach out to the host to r/s our stay who is responsive and gets back to you fast! The cabin accommodated everything for us! We had 8 people staying and everyone had a bed! The hot tub was awesome, the fire, pit the cabin everything! If you are looking to stay in a great cabin don't look anywhere else!

Great for pets

Loved the cabin, easy to communicate with owners. Great for pets. They have a convenient back door to let dogs out at. Friendly area. We come to red river every year and would stay here again. Nice hot tub and porch. A little out of the way from restaurants and such but we dont mind the drive feels more secluded.

Stairs

I did see in the picture of the stairs but i thought there might have bern normal stairs too. Seversl of our people could not make it up those stairs. We ended up skeeping 8 people down stairs, not ver comfrontable.
