”The property is tucked away on a private cove overlooking Cherokee lake and the glamp sites are nestled into the trees. We enjoyed the shade, the fire pit, the comfy bed and the mini fridge at our campsite. It was so cozy and comfortable! Further, the bath house and outdoor shower are incredible! ”This was our second visit to Idle Hour Farm. It was fun exploring the property. Used the fireplace on cool crisp mornings we are early risers. I was formerly raised in Tennessee. The log house reminded me of my grandparents log house of days gone by ruined by fire. Love pd sitting on the rockers on the front porch. We even saw a wild turkey doing a walk about. ”I was looking for a hotel that was cheap and clean. This was it. Although parts of the property showed age, (a few cracks in the wall, rust on the vents, and even an old wine stain in my room) I did not get the impression that it was unkempt. The surrounding area was quiet as well, and I thankfully didn't encounter any suspicious people/activity during my stay. Overall a good place if you're looking for affordability.”
