”Very clean, the hosts had bread and local wine ready which was such a treat! It was so nice to be among the cows and relaxing to be away from the hustle and bustle. We had morning coffee which was also supplied by the hosts! On top of that, there weren’t a lot of cleaning requirements for us to do prior to leaving, which I really appreciated. Would stay again!”

”The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights.”

”Greetings & salutations,This is my 1st VRBO booking and there were no surprises other than, how big and fully stocked the kitchen was! The pictures do the place justice, great mattresses on all the beds. Great fire pit and decks. We ran out of Body wash and before you know it, Door dash dropped some off (thank you Beth!!)Definitely like being at a nice hotel, no stripping of beds, just run the dishwasher and take out the trash. Us old retired guys will be back next year for sure, thanks, RC”

”The house was not clean. Surfaces were sticky, dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the shower had not been cleaned, the toilet was broken, much of the furniture was unstable, including the beds, one of which had a loose pillar, the other with a headboard that was not attached to anything. The entrance through the carport was dangerous and ill-smelling. There was no functioning key to the front door, so entrance had to be made through the carport every time. In the horse bedroom, there was one...

”What a pleasure! Both the accommodations and our Host! The home was on a very quiet street within walking distance of town. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues. We were overjoyed with the coffee set up (we’re big coffee lovers), more choices for brewing than you can imagine! ”This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready!...
