”We had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa!
A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.
Loved our stay at Hotel Muso.”

”This was the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. It was brand new and the design was so stylish. A boutique, luxury hotel. The room was amazing - spacious, luxurious and airy with great views over Kyoto to the hills. Such a pleasure to relax in and come back to after our days out in Kyoto. The metro and train station was steps away which made it easy to get around and also to leave for Osaka.
The main street into downtown Kyoto from Gion was also steps away but because the hotel is on a side...
”Had a wonderful stay at the Gion Elite Terrace! Lots of great amenities (the washing machines and dryer were lifesavers) and the super friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering recommendations, arranging for taxis, etc. Would definitely stay here again.”

”Beautiful accommodation with all the extras. In a great location, walking distance to the market & lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the dryer took along time to dry, but the hotel provided a clothes horse which was handy. ”

”A wonderful place to stay in Kyoto! The quiet streets and temple area near by was a fantastic experience. The room was very neat and spacious and the facilities were great. We used a lot the free device which helped to find the right streets and restaurants. I highly recommend the hotel!”

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."
