”I booked a "Deluxe Suite" at this hotel. They put me in a substantially lower quality room (without mentioning the difference). When I went back to raise the issue with them, they said that due to a mistake, they had given my room to someone else. I told them that wasn't acceptable and booked another hotel through Orbitz. They then refused to refund my reservation, and Orbitz likewise refused to refund my reservation. So everyone should know that if the hotel doesn't deliver what it promised,...

”Great place to stay while visiting Bran and Zarnesti. Staff were incredibly friendly, and took very good care of us. Even played me and my friend off, as we left, with our new favorite Romanian song, “Lady” by Sandy Ciorba… which we had been dancing to out on the balcony :) Food was also excellent, and the lamb stew with polenta was one of the best dishes I had in Romania. Getting in the driveway to park is a bit of a pain, but we did finally make it. Trick was to swing wide and to turn in...

”This is not an hotel which means that the reception is not usually staffed. You are given a key which opens both the front door and your bedroom. I found this unusual but not inconvenient. The staff are lovely and it is not too far from the middle of town. A bit up hill if you are out of condition ”
