”We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast. A well placed property with a good breakfast. The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable.”

”Unser Aufenthalt war super! Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert:) Wir wurden super lieb empfangen und bei Fragen wurde uns schnell geholfen. Das Auto konnte auf der Einfahrt geparkt werden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben rundum für alles gesorgt und und hilfreiche Tipps für Salisbury und Umgebung gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich (ein Lüfter für warme Tage wurde auch gestellt), man kann aber auch sehr schön draußen sitzen☺️ Das Frühstück war auch super 😊”

”The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy. The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. ”The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. ”The Caboose was such a memorable stay and James was so helpful and accommodating. The property is conveniently located 2 minutes from the train station and a short walk to the lovely town centre with several restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs minutes away. A visit to the Salisbury Cathedral was recommended by James and I would agree that it is a must see in Salisbury. I would recommend the Caboose without reservation.”

”Fantastic stay. Single room, 2 nights. Excellent rate. Recently refurbished. Layout was perfect for a small space, somehow they fit in a large modern shower with waterfall head! Fan provided, window opened wide to keep room cool. Staff were lovely and happy to help with anything. Free parking at the back of pub. 2 mins to centre or harbour. Would 100% stay again :)”

”Big room, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Convenient breakfast already in our room when we arrived. It was a little tricky finding the right place to park on our first day but the owner directed us and we had no problem after that. Very convenient for visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Old Sarum by car. Ate dinner on the same street at the George Hotel.”
