”The hotel was wondering. The staff was friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved our room. It was clean,spacious,and comfortable.”

”Actually the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The plastic plants and flowers are cheesy, and the host was mediocre. The place was way over rated!”

”This location was a great value. The room was clean and roomy. The shower was great. We brought our dog with us, and it worked out great. Their grass area is perfect for dogs. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The location was surprisingly quiet considering its location. We would stay again.”

”Check-in was easy enough and there is a great brewery and restaurant within walking distance. The room was well made up but it is an older hotel so the infrastructure is just a bit outdated. For one night it was comfy and practical. Breakfast items were almost all gone by the time we got there but the staff was kind enough to bring out more for us upon request.”

”This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting.”

”The rooms were outdated and had clearly not been renovated in years. The furniture was old and dusty, and the room appliances — including the microwave and the hair dryer — were not functioning. When we reached out to the staff for assistance, we received no response.”

”The Carter House Inn is a replica of an historic Victorian building and has a quaint, cozy, welcoming feel. We enjoyed a free glass of wine with a delicious dinner (Carter House Inn salad of frisee, pear, kale, spiced pecans), mushroom tart with goat cheese, and poached sockeye salmon, grilled asparagus and delicious lemony hollandaise sauce. The Bandol rosé was a perfect painting. Breakfast was memorable, with a spread of seasonal fruit, healthy grain breads, Greek yoghurt, pastries and...

”This worked well as a super last minute night after our previous plans fell through. The room was clean enough with a few stains on the pillows. Unfortunately it reeked of weed so we had to air it out. All in all very reasonable night all things considered”

”Breakfast was less than amazing. Sparse to our taste. Entire property is showing its age. We understand it's under new ownership so perhaps it will be spruced up as it deserves to be. Great location- walking distance to historical downtown and next door to the Hadley Garden. Amenity in bathroom included a bottle of body wash and one tiny bar of soap. Bed was very high and it was difficult to climb into for a short guest without help.”

”Stopped by 1 night on the way to Washington State. Very clean and spacious room and friendly staffs. Sufficient breakfast! On the way back, will stop by again.😁”
