”A good find, lovely room, only downside for elderly less mobile was shower over bath but it was a great shower. Staff very attentive and polite. Food at dinner was good, freshly cooked but a little slow. Great setting and would recommend and certainly go again if in the area.”

”My husband and I only stayed here for a couple of nights. Two nights stay in this place was enough for us. We stayed here for a few nights for my hubby's birthday. Simple amenities and that was okay. Breakfast was okay too. Plenty of spaces to park which was great. We were really not keen with the buffet English breakfast. We rather have the breakfast to order when you come. Not many options during breakfast especially with eggs. They only had fried eggs. We had dinner on our first night and...

”Couldn’t fault the room and staff at check in/behind the bar. Breakfast let the stay down, waiting nearly and hour for 4 easy breakfast (beans on toast, scrambled eggs and pancakes) and when it finally arrived it wasn’t very nice at all, we did wonder if the scrambled eggs had been dropped on the floor and scraped back on the plate- it looked so bad. Such a shame as the rooms were lovely, very clean and the pub is lovely. I would stay again but wouldn’t be rushing back to have breakfast here.”
