The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house.”

”A beautiful family-owned property, with stunning views and grounds on the banks of the river Douro. I stayed with 4 family members and we had a very special 10 days. You need a car to navigate the area, and we often stocked up on goods in Marco de Canaveses. On Francisco's recommendation we travelled to Quinta do Pacheca, which was stunning. Boat trips need to be booked in advance. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and found everything clean and tidy. I hope we can return one day soon.”

”Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!”

”We stayed for five days in October; the apartment had lots of space for the five of us. It is located close to the water and restaurants. The unit and the neighbourhood were both quiet. It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. ”Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward.”

”Great location for visiting Porto. Close to important museums and castles. Many dining options close as well as a very complete supermarket. Each unit is fully furnished with bathroom and small kitchen. Would recommend to any travelers to Porto.”

”Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. It was a nice base to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, relax and enjoy the evening”

”This really is a beautiiful villa.....so spacious, lots to do and very well equipped. We enjoyed the tennis court, pool, billiards and gorgeous setting. Comfortable beds! Mario was great as a host, could not have asked for more - very responsive, flexible, caring and just at the end of what'sapp on the couple of times needed. We hired a car to give us some extra flexibility which worked for us but it is really easy and cheap to pick up ubers locally and from Porto back to the villa. As said in...

”This is a beautiful property. Two couples stayed in the villa. Unfortunately the rain was incessant so we were not able to use the outdoor patio and pool. But it was an ideal base to explore Porto, the staff was superb, and the breakfast set us up for the day.”

”Loved the room. Very spacious, nice, and clean. The shower alone was amazing and deserves 5 stars on its own. The staff was very accomodating to my plant-based breakfast request and made sure I had enough food. Our room safe battery died right before our check out and the staff resved the issue in a very professional and fast manner. The area is great too. Would stay here again. ”
