”When our initial room didn't have much of a window, the staff was very helpful and quickly switched us to an available room with a balcony for a nominal fee. The place has a cool retro beach-motel vibe, which some may enjoy more than others but we liked. Despite the meh weather, the attached pub was pretty lively for dinner with a nice outside seating area and I'm sure that during the summer the whole place and attached small beach are very lively. ”Rooms have truly terrible noise problems. Impossible to sleep. Had to change in the middle of the night first night. Second night wasn’t much better. Once I got into my room, I was floored at how nice, clean, and modern the room felt! The interior did not match the classic exterior, so don't judge the book by it's cover!
