”We recently stayed at this hotel after a long 13-hour drive from San Antonio, Texas, with our family of four. Initially, we reserved a room with two wide beds, but to our pleasant surprise, we received an upgrade upon arrival. ”This hotel is good value for money, considering its location. Staff were helpful although not personable. The room facilities were good and the bed comfortable, although so high that it's difficult for non-athletic people to get into. The big downside, and why it gets the rating I gave it, is that there is no lift/elevator. The only rooms available when I checked in after a very much delayed flight, were on the 2nd floor, and I struggled to get my suitcase up the stairs. The comment from...

”Very nice accomodations. Only problem was that the young man who checked me in sent me to the WRONG building for my room. This was annoying after driving a long distance, and meant I had to then move my car twice. Please be more careful with your directions.”

”2nd time staying here. I love the artwork, the location, and the general ambiance of the hotel. However, this time was marred by paper thin walls, listening to complaints and arguments from next door, doors slamming, etc. The other thing I didn't appreciate was the "everyone must valet park" rule. No signage, no applicable warning, just show up, get your parking ticket, and have someone run you down stating they need your car because it's all valet now.
