”The house was not in the condition shown in the pictures. It was dirty with rodent droppings near the pantry, there were dirty dog foo bowls in the kitchen and the plants were mostly dead. There are also trailers in the front yard that are not shown in the oictures.”

”The cottage was very nice and clean indoors. However, the outdoors were somewhat dirty with trash laying all around the property (blue plastic pieces, pampers box, etc.) Also, a window was broken upon our arrival Friday at 3:15pm and we were not made aware of this. Finally, the TVs had a strange setting where they would suddenly turn on in the middle of the night with very loud channels on. Not ideal for babies! ”Absolutely beautiful home very peaceful, we enjoyed our stay. Home was very clean, well stocked with everything would definitely stay again. One small thing lawn should have been cut.”

”The rooms looked exactly like the photos, the house was very charming and welcoming feeling. Inside the house, and the hot tub, were clean and in working order. We appreciated all the small touches like soap, showering needs, dish-ware etc. The deck off the main bedroom was a nice little quiet getaway. The property was well taken care of, The fire pit was perfect for the cool nights and s’mores! The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Thanks from, two adults, three teenagers and the dog!”

”We had a great time here! The communal space was large enough for us all to hang out and even with a full house there were enough nooks and crannies for people to have some alone time. And waking up to a view of Sunday River was so aesthetic”

”We had an excellent stay at The Castle! Beautiful and cozy accommodations. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We didn't use the sauna, but the spa was decadent! It was very close to the mountain for skiing. (And parking at the Jordan lift made it almost as easy as ski-in/ski-out access). We also spent lots of time just enjoying the house, sitting by the fire, playing cribbage and just relaxing (especially nice after a day on the slopes). Our dog (a Corgi) also loved the house...

”Our stay was short because we only needed rest for the night. However, check in process was super simple. This place was perfect for all our needs like shower, rooms/beds, kitchen filled with all necessities, great parking. There was plenty of space for everyone and kids would have a great yard area to play in. ”

”Overall, the yurt was located near town and the ski areas.The biggest complaint was the neighbors. Partied two nights in a row loudly and late…Noisiest I’ve ever had the wilderness be….It was a short stay I wished we could have acclimated to the place more. Would love to explore the trails and more around Bethel. Building and bathhouse are nicely done. Outhouse…needed some lime plus I’m not sure the party goers next door were great to share it with…bad aim.”

”Check in was a self check in which was super convenient for us coming from such a long road trip. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was very clean. Its a brand new house! The host was easy to reach, and the location was nice and quiet away from neighbors which was nice. It was easy to get to Sunday River just over 15 minutes! The layout of the house was perfect for our group. The hot tub was super nice, and firepit as well. ”
