”Such a lovely welcome.. quiet and clean. Lovely friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Free breakfast of toast, croissants , and wide selection of cereal was lovely and just enough to start the day. The only thing for us was the bed was a bit hard but that’s personal choice. We will definitely stay again.”

”Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. The windows do not open in the room (perhaps for safety as the rooms are all ground floor) so the room was a bit stuffy and warm for our comfort. A fan was provided,...

”Fantastic little place. Proper country pub, with good food and really good beers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and really helpful. The rooms stable yard style chaletes and round the back, when it's peaceful and quiet. They're spacious, warm and cozy and as well equipped as you could reasonably expect. Serviced daily and if you're staying during the week, at least, they're an absolute bargain.”

”Excellent location for my needs, fabulous hosts, lovely property, exceptionally clean, pristine bathroom and a great breakfast. Slightly noisy plumbing from adjoining room(s) delayed my sleep a little but not a big issue.”

”A warm welcome from Sam. Beautiful decor, warm and clean, specialty teas and milk for the fridge in a glass bottle. Lovely garden with manicured lawns, loved the scent of the lavender hedge. Hot delicious breakfast in the bright and airy breakfast room, the wall to ceiling windows gave a great view of the garden. I could go on! I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Fiona.”

”Lovely, comfortable clean and spacious room. Good size breakfast with good quality ingredients with pleasant hosts. Property located away from major roads surrounded by stunning gardens makes for a peaceful nights sleep. Would say I would stay again, but I had to come back for work again unexpectedly the following week and re-booked without hesitation”

”This is a superb setting for Luton airport customers. You are literally in the last bed before the runway. This means it isn't quiet when the planes fly over, but it is superbly comfortable and the hosts go the extra mile with small but winning touches including the ready when you are breakfast for those travelling at odd times. Great stay, but bring your ear plus if you want to pretend you are not staying near the airport.”

”We had a lovely stay at Little Barham that we were staying at for a family party and trip to Colchester Zoo. It was a super comfortable bed, lovely setup with the zed bed for our son, lovely tea/coffee facilities and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with eggs from the chickens laid that morning. They’re such a lovely couple running it and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs which we are hugely grateful for. ”
