"We traveled to Berlin from the USA to see an opera production (Der Ring Das Nibelungen) at Deutsches Oper Berlin. From Brandenderg Airport (BER) it’s a simple, straight hour ride on the S-Bahn regional train to Charlottenburg station, followed by a 12 minute walk to the hotel. It is situated on a street which is an easy, 5 minute walk from the opera house. There are lots and lots of eating options of all types nearby, and the neighborhood is safe and pleasant.
