Fint läge och trevlig personal på slitet hotell!
Otroligt bra läge på hotellet med trevlig personal. Men två stjärnor innebär dåliga sängar, unken luft på rummet. Kan man ju stå ut med i ett par dar, men inte mer tycker vi.

Great location, very good breakfast. Room was a bit warm and bed not super comfortable, but overall good place. The staff was very friendly.

Netter Kontakt, freundliches Personal, Durch die Nähe zu den Bahngleisen und der damit verbundenen Lautstärke, konnte ich nur bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Ein Ventilator war auf dem Zimmer, dieser war in der kleinsten Stufe aber immer noch sehr laut.

For me as a solo traveller it was good vallue for the money. Someone of a large size might first check out bathroom as it is on the small size.

Hervorragende Lage, freundliches Personal, sehr sauber. Zimmer einfach, aber ok, das Bad sehr eng, Dusche neu. Das Bett empfanden wir als Schwachpunkt - dass es recht schmal war, war nicht einmal das Problem, aber die Matratzen waren so weich, dass wir kaum richtig schlafen konnten.

Hotel med perfekt beliggenhed.
Hotel Krone ligger perfekt placeret, både centralt i byen og lige ned til Rhinen. Personalet er meget venlige, hjælpsomme og interesserede i at deres gæster har det godt. Der er rent og pænt. Et hotel, som klart kan anbefales ved et besøg langs Rhinen.

Die Unterkunft kann man ohne wenn und aber weiter empfehlen. Die Inhaberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplatz Möglichkeiten in der nähe des Hotels sind da aber mit 15 Euro pro Tag etwas teuer. Sonst alles okay.

Family business for 300 years
This quaint building is a part of a 300 year old family business. See the photos of previous hoteliers in the dining/lobby area. As seemed common in our Germany lodgings, the dining/check-in areas are the front room of the building. Staff was great and provided any help we needed. Breakfast was good. We had a large bathroom by European standards and they had tried to provide a comfortable space, including black out curtains by the bed. The church bells did ring at about 7AM but it was charming rather than annoying. We did have to park slightly off-site but that's common when you are staying in an area built before cars were invented. Easy walk to the seilbahn if you are taking the lift ride, and to the train station if you are taking the Rhine river day cruise and returning via the train.

Nice Little Hotel with a Great Breakfast
Hotel was a great pick for our one overnight between Frankfurt airport & Bonn next day. Good location, on the river & convenient for prowling Rüdesheim restaurants. Breakfast, included, was amazing! Parking is not on site...feed the Automat between 09:00 &18:00 @ lot one short block away. Wifi slow for streaming, OK for non-video data.

Very friendly family hotel
Pleasant walk along waterfront from rail station. Checked in at 12 noon with no fuss. Allocated a room with comfortable arm chair and couch, overlooking the riverside, for self and wife, and an adjacent single room for our son. Wide choice at breakfast. Short walk through a really pretty town to the cable car ride to a superb viewing point. In Rudesheim, the freight trains run along the river bank, so choose a place back from the waterfront if you are very noise sensitive - shutters just accentuate the train noise, but double glazing sufficed for us. Excellent choice of restaurants.

No frills but superb location
The people were very nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Nice view, park next door, restaurants in the area and good parking. The rooms and decor is really old and somewhat run down. The room was clean though. Really small tv that we did not even bother with. The WIFI is was lame and and took some walking around :). The location was really what made the stay not a total disappointment.

Wonderful Historical Hotel
I would highly recommend the Hotel Krone for your stay in Rüdesheim! The hosts are so sweet (they speak English!). the castle cruises depart from across the street and the Seilbahn is only a few blocks away. The room is modern with a nice sized private bathroom.

Vänligt mottagen. Även om vi kom innan incheckningstid, blev vi erbjudna att ställa in våra väskor. Tyvärr ingen parkering till hotellet utan vi fick ställa oss ca 10 minuters gångväg därifrån. Visserligen gratis men lite avsides..
