Stargazer, as the name implies is all about the views of the outdoors. Perched high in the scenic Upper Canyon of Ruidoso sits this magnificent historic lodge.Modern convenience and rustic mountain living come together at Star Gazer. This tastefully decorated getaway is located on a secluded street. Everything about this home is devoted to bringing natures splendor into your living spaces. Youll especially enjoy the two decks where you can sit and listen to the gentle rustle of the pines while watching hummingbirds buzz and deer frolic.When you arrive at Stargazer, youll find plenty of parking for your group. There are stairs up to the massive cedar beamed covered deck where you will find generous seating for your group to enjoy the overlook and give you a front-row seat on the forest.A huge stone wood-burning fireplace anchors your great room. How fun it will be to listen to a crackling fire while you lounge in wonderfully comfortable couches and armchairs. Expansive windows bring the forests green and the skys blue in to complete the space. A sixty inch TV is tucked in the corner for your enjoyment. Its fun to gather your group to watch a favorite show while you munch on popcorn. You also have free Internet within Stargazer so you can stay in touch with friends back home.There is a table and chairs and a gas grill on the second large deck so you can enjoy a meal outdoors any time you want. Food tastes its best in the great outdoors. You also have a secluded and covered Hot Tub adjacent to this space for star gazing while enjoying the warmth and relaxation of the swirling water.When youre back from skiing, hiking, golfing, or checking out nearby scenic attractions, youll soon sense the need for a good nights sleep. Your master bedroom is the ideal retreat, a true private sanctuary. In addition to a king-sized bed, you have nightstands with reading lamps and a fifty five inch TV on the wall thats perfectly placed for late-night viewing. Before you slip off to dreamland, take a moment to step out on the walkway through your private doorway and listen to the sounds of night in the forest. What a peaceful way to end your day.One guest room includes a king-sized bed and a private TV. The second guest room has a large bunk bed which is comprised of a queen, full, and a Trundle. Stargazer also has a sleeper sofa. Your guests will love the rustic cedar dcor in the rooms and throughout Stargazer. The entire house is air-conditioned for comfort in summer.Stargazer has two bathrooms, which is a convenience you and your guests will appreciate. A second bathroom cuts down on the wait for a turn in the shower. Before you know it, youll all be out on the deck enjoying a hot cup of coffee. The second bathroom also houses the Stargazer washer and dryer. No matter how dirty your gang gets out on the slopes or hiking, youll be able to keep them in clean clothes.There is also a small fenced dog run for your 4 legged friends.Its hard to imagine a more perfect vacation destination than Stargazer.It is a VERY steep paved driveway up to Stargazer, during the winter months we STRONGLY reccomend 4wd and/or tire chains. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads.Note: This cabin IS pet friendly, please let us know if you are bringing pets, it is $35 per pet/per reservation. Failure to report guests is a violation of house rules and will result in expulsion from the cabin without refund. You will be SMS texted, What'sApp'd or emailed a rental agreement to be signed and submitted. Arrival instructions will be sent on your day of arrival via the same method as the rental agreement.

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your reservation please review the following policy. An administration fee of $35 will be charged to all cancellations 14 days or more in advance, unless a reschedule has been agreed upon. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in will be charged a 1 night fee including taxes and are subject to all other nights the Cabin or Room is not re-rented. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged in full. Sorry, no refund for early departure. We strongly recommend that you consider purchasing Trip Insurance to protect your investment. Full details can be found on our website.Please note Cancellation policies for Christmas and New Years (Inclusive Dec 20-Jan 5) differ significantly, they will be clearly explained in your rental agreement. UCLC's signed rental agreement will take precedence over any 3rd party booking site policy.
