”The hotel is lovely and the staff are the most caring. We arrived late in the night and they were ready to make us food even though the kitchen was closed. The room was spacy and the beds were comfy. Tiny downside was that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby, and was very slow even there.”

Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation.”

”My wife and I spent 3 nights at The Chocolate Box. We had the entire cottage, which included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen , living room and a washing machine. It was an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. It was so quiet as well. The location is perfect for day trips to Cork and Cobh, as well as the Ring of Kerry. Lidl was only a 10 minute drive away ”
