”We had a wonderful stay at the Old Timer. What a cozy and relaxing treasure of a house. The deck looking over the river was so relaxing and peaceful. The fireplace was a beautiful element that made the evenings so cozy. The entire space was spotlessly clean, and the space was just as it looked in the photos, with the comfiest couch to lounge on. I would definitely return in the future and recommend to others. ”

”It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

”This was our second time staying here, and it is AMAZING! Beautiful location in a vineyard and close proximity to numerous great wineries. So many thoughtful touches and incredible hospitality by hosts, Wayne and Pauline. Lovely airy deck for sipping wine and relaxing. We enjoyed a couple free concerts in local town squares and some great cuisine in Healdsburg restaurants. Well-stocked with many amenities. We loved it!”

”Love Monte Rio Tree house great location, great hot tub, so close to Monte Rio public beach for enjoying the River. Spent a great day at Riverelectric swim club. So fun. This house has a lot of stairs, very well stocked with everything you need for your stay. We will be back. ”

”Clean, updated house nestled in a green forestry setting. We enjoyed the hot tub while relaxing outside. The property is down the street from the river.(chairs and tubes provided) Two min drive to Safeway. Bodega Bay is close by in one direction, and wineries such as Korbel are close in the other. We had a good time. Thanks!”

”We had an amazing time gazing at the trees, listening to the nearby creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. We needed a relaxing getaway and couldn’t have picked a better property for that purpose. Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can.”
