Rustic Cabin Experience on Acreage between Gull Lake & Sylvan Lake.

WINTER STAYS (September 15th to May 15th):
** Winter interior heating: wood stove, and electric heat,  wood stove warmest** (Please note that it is NOT always pre-heated ahead of time, you will have to heat it upon arrival.) Wood is for the interior stove only, outdoor firewood will need to be purchased.
*no indoor porta potty ( you're welcome to bring your own), outhouse available for use. NO indoor bathroom sink. NO water for drinking or dishwashing left in cabin, must make arrangements ahead of time with Nickie to pickup at the main house or bring your own.
*short shower available at the main house with a 2 night min. stay, must bring your own towel, book with Nickie 12 hours in advance if needed, as Nickie is not always available to open the space. Alternatively you can shower at the swimming pools in the area.
*bring slippers floor could be a bit chilly
*if temperatures are going to be -25 celsius or colder, full refund available.

SUMMER STAYS (May 16th - September 14th )
*No running water in cabin(water provided for drinking, cooking, dish-washing) (short shower available at the main house with a 2 night min. stay, must bring your own towel, book with Nickie 12 hours in advance if needed, as Nickie is not always available to open the space. Alternatively can shower at the swimming pools in the area)

*no indoor porta potty ( you're welcome to bring your own), outhouse available for use.

**this is not a party cabin.**

The Cabin is located on 4 acres between Sylvan Lake & Gull Lake. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, great views of the sun rising and setting, it's gated, paved driveway, outside dog on property (dog's name is Athena, she's very friendly and loves people) . Gazebo next to cabin is 100% for cabin renters use.

Electricity only, no porta potty in cabin, only outhouse, wood stove(wood provided) and electric heat, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, electric frying pan, crock-pot, pots, pans, utensils, stand alone fans, hair dryer, games.

Loft 1 sleeps 2: Queen mattress, must climb ladder to access(bedding provided)

Loft 2 sleeps 2: Double mattress, must climb ladder to access( head space is limited on this side), but adults could fit.(bedding provided)

Table bed on the main level is 45" x 80 ", sleeps 1 or 2 small people (bring your own bedding and sheets)

Bathroom area: camp sink, hand towel, face cloths, hair dryer, mirror.

Kitchen area: Sink for dish washing, must wash all dishes upon leaving.

Gazebo next to cabin: 100% for cabin guest only, has BBQ, patio table, additional sitting chairs.

Guests that stay have access to shared play areas, kids playhouse and toys, slide, swings, sandbox areas, trampoline, kids climber), fire-pit(must bring your own wood or purchase on-site).

WiFi near main house, if needed.

There is a pond on the property, not for swimming. Use of areas is 100% at renter's own risk, the owner is in no way responsible or liable if renters choose to use the spaces.

Renters will be 100% responsible for any damage to the rental property.

Guest are welcome to bring their bikes, there is space to ride bikes around. 100% at renter's own risk, the owner is in no way responsible or liable if renters choose bring their bikes and use them on the property.

Firewood and kindling available for purchase onsite, for shared outdoor fire-pit located close to main house.

Bentley is 3km and has:
The Drop - take out coffee shop and pastries
Piccolos pizza - pizzas, pastas, burgers, salads

Bentley - 3 km (Farmers Market Saturday 2 - 4 pm)
Gull Lake (Aspen Beach - has shower facility)- 12 km
Sandy Point Beach - 12 km
Sylvan Lake - 19 km (Farmers Market Friday 4 - 7:30 pm) has beach, indoor swimming pool, and splash park. Splash park area has shower facility.
Rimbey - 25 km (Farmers Market Saturday 9:30 - 12:30 pm) has outdoor swimming pool and splash park
Lacombe - 27km (Farmers Market Saturday 3-7 pm)Has indoor swimming pool, outdoor splash park.

Wednesday evening and every 2nd Sunday afternoon Horse Races at Track on 2 outside of Lacombe has horse races. Check site for changes.

You will be 100% responsible for any damage to the rental property.

Fire Extinguisher, located at the entry doorway beside garbage can. Fire blanket located under counter to the left of the first black storage unit.

First Aid kit located in the bathroom cube shelf.

Laundry service available if needed: cost will be $30 per load, washed and dried. Not always available, availability based on owners schedule.

Alternatively Bentley and Sylvan Lake have laundromats.
