”A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended!”

”Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. "Traditional and homely accommodation, just what we were looking for as a place for our family to stay. The location was excellent. The services of the city centre were close by, but the hotel was located on a beautiful street in a quiet environment. The rooms were charming, one of which we used was particularly functional and comfortable. A very good traditional English breakfast, complemented by berries and yoghurt. I couldn't have asked for anything more for breakfast or from the hotel. I can warmly recommend it."
