10/10 Loistava

Hyvää: Siisteys, sisäänkirjautuminen, viestintä, sijainti ja listauksen paikkansapitävyys
It is an adorable, spotless, and well-played-out home in a highly convenient location. As mentioned by other reviewers, and which I was well aware of going in, that convenient location is also a very busy location with road noise and traffic. Luckily, getting in and out of the private driveway is brilliantly assisted by a traffic light and center lane. There is a gated front yard and a lit back yard. Full size laundry machines. Gas stove, dishes, pots pans spices, etc. Full size spotless fridge. You could cook every meal there, but why would you when there are multiple great restaurants nearby? The stay was as-advertised and went smoothly with the attentive host.

Huonoa: Siisteys ja viestintä
I have stayed at many homes and have never previously left a poor review. Unfortunately, our experience here was disappointing. The property was basic and below average in quality and hospitality. The cookware were low quality, the curtains thin without shading for our young children to nap, and the couch had a loose component. Automated messages warning about additional fees also made the stay feel more transactional than welcoming. We would have simply moved on without reviewing, especially since we had previously stayed at another property from the same host with a similar experience and chose not to leave a negative review.Unfortunately, on our second night we found and caught a cockroach on our bed. I contacted the host, who agreed to a partial refund but would not waive the cleaning fee. I then worked with VRBO, whose representatives made an effort to help, which I appreciated. After hours of back-and-forth, however, there was no further concession. The host also stopped communicatingI later contacted them to let them know we had left, disposed of the trash, and wished them well. I also left an item behind and received no response. More than a week later, I was charged an additional cleaning fee on top of the original cleaning fee, and again received no response.I genuinely wish the host well and hope they take this feedback constructively. Better communication, flexibility, and hospitality would have made a significant difference.
