The hardest part of our job is to manage the expectations, mostly of people we are meeting for the first time. It becomes practically impossible when the feedback we get does not reflect their true feelings. While we cannot do anything about the access to the private patio which is clear in the pictures, most of the other issues could have been resolved with an honest answer to our inquiries about your stay. An anonymous comment like that is like a departure blow from behind. It is specially hurtful when it comes at a time when our people are fighting a war that was brought upon us due to our own lack of love for one another.

In general I do not respond although I do fix the problems that our guests have to the best of my ability. This couple showed up, thought they booked a new hotel, were very rude to my staff and left without paying what they owed. It really helped me appreciate that most of our guests are really quite lovely.
