”Outside looks a little rundown but the rooms were nicely updated. Very clean and quiet. Front desk staff were lovely.”

”The bedding had poop and blood stains and the brown girl at the desk double charged me. They don’t provide breakfast other then juice and coffee and yogurt and the rooms are dated and musty. I grew up in Duncan and moved to Ontario and travel for work but the standard this place had put the bar in hell and you have to limbo under it. 10/10 do not recommend.”

”Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical.”

We liked that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel but be mindful of their hours of operation, atmosphere, and prices. We found the harbour restaurant next door to be more accommodating for families. We loved dining outdoors overlooking the harbour.”

”there is no staff there so you are on your own - but that is ok - it is a very small place - old but totally updated inside no extra emenities at all on the outside (ice etc) the stairs to the top floor are not the best but if you are fit, they work!! Booking was great with Expedia but the hotel itself says you need to fill out a form and give 2 pieces if ID? which is not true!! for the money it was worth it”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully updated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for my wife and me. The shared outdoor space was immaculate and we enjoyed a morning of swimming off the docks and reading in the hammocks. The climate control in the room worked efficiently and quietly. Ed’s coffee shop next door was cute and convenient. Our stay felt like a home away from home. Thanks for a great time!”

”5 stars Aside from the bloodstains on the carpet and the 1 mouse we saw under the fridge, The place was pretty clean and felt pretty safe. The staff were very friendly. There were no bed bugs or cockroaches I figured there were enough spiders in the corners of the room to take care of all those pests, but did a double check just to be safe. The shower had great pressure. I mean it better cause it sounded like a bomb going off every time you turned it on. The hot water was great for long...
