”We loved our stay in this characterful property. It is very comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and above all peaceful. It was a great base from which to explore a very interesting part of Burgundy with its multitude of Romanesque churches. June was a terrific host and we enjoyed our chats over breakfast. ”Il a fait très chaud ce week-end, la maison reste fraîche, sans doute grâce à ses murs épais.De toute façon la climatisation est présente et très efficace. ”I had to move out the same night I arrived and stayed at the Hotel Bourgogne in Macon. I did not receive check in details so had to figure it out and incorrectly entered through the main property and not the pasture next door. No A/C and no fan meant an inside temp of 30 degrees Celsius and plenty of country mosquitos ready to come in the open windows. (It would be quite nice in Spring or Fall). Finally no WiFi despite the listing and poor telephone data so I would have missed my country’s...
