”We came in winter and our room was warm, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Our host offerered a complimentary daily breakfast that was delicious and was a very much appreciated start to the day. Location is steps away from the Chateau Royal as well as many good restaurants. Highly recommend this excelent hotel.”

”Charming host lady with charisma, sweet stories, and attention to detail. It is obvious she enjoys having visitors and treating them as family. The house is also a pleasure to wonder around with old antique furniture. Finally the rooms rented are renovated and spacious. So you have the charm of an old mansion with the comfort of today's amenities!”

”Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”

”The cave room at the chateau is fantastic. Besides a couple of spiderwebs and some steep steps, it is truly a find in the Loire valley. Excellent space, oasis of rest, great sauna, even better hot tub!”

”Very nice overall experiences, every detail is well thought of. Excellent breakfast especially their home made jam and yogurt. Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. ”We loved our stay at La Maison Jules! It is located close to the train station/visitor center and walking distance to the museums and the old town. The house has great character and the room/bathroom was very spacious. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversations with the host. ”

”Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful...
