  • We welcome you to the LANGE family home (my great-grandparents were the first to live there in about 1850) restored in the tradition of dressed stone houses.
    Our property of 400 m2 of living space is divided into 3 seasonal accommodations, plus ours. All have a furnished outdoor terrace and a private entrance for your autonomy.
    Your terrace will be next to ours, separated by a gate, but we are discreet people and respect the tranquility of our guests.
    There is no common area inside.
    To enhance your stay, we provide you with bicycles (3 adults and 3 children), 1 ping-pong table, Finnish skittles, 1 electronic dartboard, balls, barbecues, hammocks etc ...
    The 40 m2 indoor swimming pool, shared with other holidaymakers, will refresh and relax you during your stay.
    Not to mention the 5-person boat to navigate on the conche (river) which borders our land. You will surely come across roe deer, kingfishers, herons, egrets etc ....
    Guests can stroll through the various flower gardens and vegetable gardens on a fenced plot of 5,400 m2.
    We have a chicken coop with 4
    beautiful laying hens of different breeds.
    Your pet will be welcome, with an extra charge. It will be under your responsibility in case of untimely barking, damage in the accommodation or outside.
    Bed linen and towels are extra, contact me for rates.
    I don't take any cleaning costs, I prefer it to be carried out by you.
    The accommodation must be returned in the same state of cleanliness as when you arrived.
    Located halfway between La Rochelle and Niort, you will enjoy these 2 tourist towns. For unforgettable days, you will have to visit the Futuroscope of Poitiers, the Puy du Fou park in Les Herbiers, the old port of La Rochelle and the various islands of the region.
    Saint Hilaire La Palud is the capital of the Green Venice. This pretty, dynamic village has all the shops and craftsmen nearby, but also a goat farm that you can visit, a cinema, an ornithological park, 3 piers....
    We do everything we can to ensure that you make the most of the region and its surroundings so that you can keep warm memories of your holidays in Poitiers.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison. Très bien équipée, fonctionnelle et agréable, elle offre un superbe extérieur avec un parc ombragé et une piscine très appréciée. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, disponibles et prévenants. L'emplacement est idéal, au calme, pour découvrir le Marais poitevin. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Rose Line est une hôte très accueillante. Notre séjour a été très court, mais tout était à notre disposition pour passer un agréable moment : les vélos et la barque sont supers pour découvrir le coin. Rose Line s'est adaptée a notre horaire d'arrivée plus tardif que prévu et s'est rendue disponible après notre séjour pour des questions administratives, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable et respectueuse.

Séjour dans le marais poitevin

Environnement propice au calme et au repos...l'exterieur est boisé et fleuri et au bord du marais...très très agréable! L'appartement est propre et bien équipé. La mise à disposition de jeux, vélos, barque et de la piscine sont top. Hôtes accueillants, discrèts et disponibles pour tous renseignements. Toute la famille a beaucoup apprécié ce séjour.

Not as advertised

Overall the house is good and the garden is lovely. However, we did not have a good experience. The owner does not provide linen so if you don't want to bring any Madame will charge you 30 euros for thin towels (2 per week) and a sheet and pillowcase. The beds are uncomfortable and creak when you move in them! The kitchen does not have a kettle and the equipment is old. Be careful you do not break anything as Madame will expect you to provide a replacement and not leave the cottage until you have provided her with the money. There are 3 apartments/holiday cottages there and the owners live on site so the pool is not private, it is communal to everyone who is on site and to owners friends when they entertain. We couldn't use the pool for a week as the water turned green and thick and it looked unpleasant. We were not offered a discount because we couldn't use a pool we had paid for. The owner expects you to leave the house cleaner than when you found it and will enter the property at will. Madame does not provide a mop and bucket to clean the floors but will expect you to wet clean them! The place is lovely (except for the flies which are a constant nuisance. Madame's advice was to keep the door closed - an issue with temperatures at 30 degrees!) but we did not have a good holiday and we are in discussion with Vrbo about the additional charges Madame is trying to foist on us. Recommendation: Book somewhere else for a better holiday experience!

Hôtes cordiales et très gentils. Toujours prêts à vous rendre service ou vous conseiller pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Endroit reposant. Je le conseille sans soucis.
