At the Song of the Fountain – La Bruyère Cottage – St Laurent les Bains

Nestled in a small hamlet surrounded by nature, this comfortable and inviting cottage welcomes you to relax to the soothing sound of a drinking water fountain. The Saint-Laurent-les-Bains spa resort is just 5 km away, accessible via a charming country road.



Located in the heart of the unspoiled landscapes of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park, this peaceful spot is perfect for unwinding and recharging. Hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor enthusiasts will find a wide variety of wild sites to explore. Trails start directly from the cottage, leading through heathlands and forests to the river or to the nearby Abbey of Notre-Dame des Neiges.



The nearest train station is La Bastide-Puylaurent, a village 20 minutes away. Lakes, picturesque villages, outdoor activities, inns, restaurants, markets, and shops are all within easy reach.



The cottage is built with eco-friendly materials. This former farmhouse, with its thick stone walls, stays pleasantly cool in summer. It features a living room with lounge area and integrated kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, a low mezzanine with two modular single beds (accessed by a steep staircase, not recommended for young children or guests with reduced mobility), and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.



You will enjoy a private terrace and access to a garden area. A shared laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available. Parking is at the entrance of the cottage in the hamlet square, and a secure motorcycle garage is provided.



A second cottage can be rented for family or group stays (up to 8 guests), with access to a large independent room and a fully equipped kitchen.
