”The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views, the only downside was the trek to the nearest bus stop, or rather the trek back uphill. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from Debora in reception all the way to the charming folk who kept our room clean and well stocked with essentials. ”Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. ”My 4 night stay was excellent, I chose a double with a sea view which was definitely worth the extra cost. The bedroom was a good size for me but I felt it was maybe a bit small for a couple but otherwise was very good, however the bathroom was rather dated with shower over the bath with curtain and not a lot of water pressure. There's a large patio and upper patio with comfortable seating where you can eat and drink and relax in this wonderful setting. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Food was delicious. Staff all friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop right outside so easy access into St Helier and Corbiere. I'd love to return.”

”A really hot room with broken air-condition and a locked (not usable) safe was given to us and also our friends got a room with broken a-c. Later on we heard a similar story by another hotel guest. We got a better room after complaining. I am sure that hotel management is aware of the fact that air-conditioning in several rooms is not working and still they put guests in such rooms. This is not acceptable. Breakfast was good as was location.”

”The hotel was very good. It had excellent facilities (especially the pool). The staff were very friendly and helpful. For someone who has cycling around Jersey, the fact that the hotel had plenty of bike racks was a big bonus, including some that were under a shelter. The breakfast and restaurant were of a good quality. The only suggestion would be to look at Air Conditioning in the bedrooms.
