While preserving the charm of the old stone walls, this traditional longhouse has been completely renovated over three years. It combines authenticity, contemporary comfort, and the surrounding natural beauty. Located in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles and the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park, 2.5 hours from Paris, 1.5 hours from Nantes, and 1 hour 30 minutes from Angers and Deauville, this gîte offers serenity both within its walls and in its large garden.

It features five bedrooms, four with private sitting areas and bathrooms (showers or bathtubs available), and four toilets, three of which are private. A unique feature: access to the fifth bedroom requires passing through the fourth, which does not have a door. The 210m² longhouse boasts spacious rooms and abundant natural light (cathedral ceiling in the living room) in the 43m² living area. A 39m² mezzanine includes a reading corner, a games area, and a media corner. There is also a 100m² stone terrace. Ideally located, the house is surrounded by verdant meadows where cows and calves from our farm graze. Close to the village of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois (3 km), in the heart of the Alpes Mancelles region, it offers a wealth of activities and events. You'll discover hiking and cycling trails, and you can try trail running or hone your skills. Places steeped in history and architecture await you. Water sports, shops, and restaurants are available in the village. You're also welcome to chat with us about our enjoyable work as farmers.

The furniture and appliances are new or refurbished vintage pieces. The bedding is brand new and carefully selected for maximum comfort.

A cleaning fee of €150 is highly recommended and payable to the owner upon arrival. (Mandatory for family gatherings)

Exterior: Private outdoor parking along the covered area (no vehicles allowed inside the cottage courtyard). Large covered area enclosed on two sides, children's play area (swing set), pétanque court, barbecue, garden furniture, armchairs, 2000 m² lawn with fruit trees. Lockable storage room available.

For family gatherings, please contact us! This accommodation is not a function room, a hostel, or a large gîte; therefore, all festive events (large, noisy dance parties, etc.) will not be permitted. Similarly, additional guests staying only for lunch or dinner and departing in the evening must be notified in advance and will be charged €10 per person.
Finally, a mandatory and non-negotiable cleaning fee of €150 will be charged on this occasion. Included in the rental price are bed linen, towels, internet access, and electricity.

There is an electrical hookup in the village (no secure charging point for vehicles at the property). Contacting us a few days in advance will allow us to best adjust your arrival time.
