âA charming, older hotel with a fantastic view. Smaller in size, painted in tropical colors, it had a casual, homey feel. We had an issue with the shower head and it was fixed within hours; housekeeping does an excellent job. The mattress was nice and firm. Air conditioning works perfectly. The balcony had had a fantastic view of the sea. A quiet, relaxing vacation spot.â

âRooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. âI was disappointed with my visit. The staff morale was very poor, very unfriendly employees. The hotel frequently books large group events and the space is directly below many rooms, one night the music and noise continued past midnight.
The restaurant prices are extremely high and poor quality, we enjoyed meals outside of the property as a result.

âI stayed there during off-season so it was very quiet and they didn't have "Chef" etc. during that time. I got 50% discount compared to regular rate and they up-graded me to a nicer room without extra cost.
Big hotels and resorts just can't offer that "old world" feel and personal service.â

âThe staff was very friendly and helpful, mostly Joy who would make me coffee in the morning. The guys who worked at the bar night or day where great as well.
