Cozy cottage located directly on the shores of Lac Taureau on a seasonal campground. You'll be charmed by its superb windowed terrace and warmth. It has two bedrooms and a sofa bed, and can accommodate up to 7 people. You're not just renting a cottage, you're getting access to a lot of activities directly on the Camping Saint-Ignace site, plus the opportunity to enjoy the superb beaches within easy reach.

The Space:

When you rent the cottage, you have free access to all the campground's activities: children's playground, recreation pavilion, games room, beach with inflatable water games, organized activities and more.... Rental includes a dock (B12) for boats up to 24 feet located in front of the cottage. A few meters away (80m), a boat launch is available at no extra charge (you must bring your own boat and watercraft).



The community room and laundry room are open in summer only.



Winter sports enthusiasts will be delighted by the tranquility of the site, as the campground is closed during the winter season. (October 1 to May 15). You can even store your ski-doo and mountain bike in the (unheated) garage next to the chalet.



Please note that all guests spending hours on the camp site past rental time are obligated to report to the front office and pay a fee per day of 7,65$ per person or 13.60$ per family. Thank you for your understanding.





Notice – Water Level Fluctuations: As Lake Taureau is a managed reservoir, its water levels fluctuate significantly throughout the year, remaining stable during the summer for recreation, dropping heavily in the fall and winter, and refilling in the spring. Boaters and residents must exercise caution, as normally submerged hazards (stumps, rocks, sandbars) can become exposed during low-water periods. Depending on the time of year the beach may be more or less present.

- Lac Taureau Regional Park: hiking, wild beaches, kayak, canoe, and SUP rentals, lake cruises, or snowshoeing in winter



- Nearby beaches: Pointe-Fibe Beach (15 min) and Saint-Michel-des-Saints Municipal Beach (10 min)



- Hiking at Coulée des Nymphes (27 min) – an enchanting trail to explore



- Dogsledding with Évasion Nature Expéditions K9 (23 min)



- Lac Taureau Golf Course (16 min) – for lovers of forehand shots by the lake

The chalet is just 10 minutes from the village of Saint-Michel-des-Saints, where you'll find a grocery store, SAQ, restaurants, a bowling alley, shops, and essential services.



From 10:00pm, we ask you not to make any noise so as not to disturb nearby neighbors.



Guest Access:

To stay here you need to:

1- Fill out your contact information.

2-Provide a valid ID.

3-Give a security deposit of $600 as a pre-authorization on a credit card or a refundable payment, depending on the rental platform.

(If no damages are found after your stay, we will proceed with the refund of your deposit. Note that this may take up to 14 days due to banking delays)

4-Read thoroughly the house rules and agree.



Pets are welcome (with an additional cleaning fee of 75$+tx/dog)

A fee of $35 + tax may apply for each additional person.



The Neighborhood:

There's a pay-what-you-can laundry close to the chalet, within walking distance of the campsite.



Getting Around:

Cellular reception is weak on the premises. Guests can always use Wi-Fi calling or make calls via Messenger and WhatsApp. There is also the possibility of receiving a cell signal on the front balcony to the right or a little further down the street.

PROMOTION:

A third night can be free during the low season. Discounts of up to 50% may be available during the high season. Please inquire for details.



As the residence is located in the countryside, there could be - despite the necessary measures put in place to prevent this - insects or small animals in the vicinity or getting inside if doors and/or windows are left open.
