”Pleasant staff, easy parking, very pleasant location within walking distance of the Chateau de Combourg, which we had plan to visit. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. Our room had all the standard amenities of a 3 star hotel.”

”Oltiin matkalla Nantesista Normandiaan kun päätettiin tehdä extempore pysähdys Mont st Micheliin. Katsottiin että paikka on mukavan lähellä ja sopii reitillemme. Paikka on todella nätti ja palvelu todella hyvää (varsinkin ravintolassa illalla). Ainoa vapaa huone oli joku vähän isompi ja kalliimpi (huone nro114). Huone siisti, mutta paikat hieman kulahtaneet. Iso kylppäri! Hotellilta hienot näkymät Mont st Michelinille päin. Aamiainen ei hintansa väärti! Pienellä laitolla paikasta saisi erittäin...

”From my point of view this is primarily a business hotel. But, if you are traveling with a car and need a place to sleep the night near Rennes, this is a very good pick. It is very empty on the weekend and the rates are low and parking is secure and free. There are several restaurants and a monoprix of the far side of the big traffic circle. But, the only other attraction in the area might be the University of Rennes main campus. ”

”What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth!
