”I usually do not give ratings but this time I feel that I have to let people know how amazing this Ryokan/hotel is.
First the location is right in the middle of Beppus 7 Hells. You walk out and around corner they are!
Second the hotel has breathtaking views of Beppu and the sea.
Third the ryokan do not look much from the street but boy when you walk in you are surrounded by absolutely beautiful japanese garden, pond and architecture.
Fourth, all the 4 rooms we had had own beautiful onsen bath...

”Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! Tatami rooms w/a kitchen, tiny bathroom (ship size). It is an older hotel, but it was perfect for us. The young man running the hotel was so nice and pleasant. ”Kunisakiso Ryocan was lovely. We ended our trip in Kyushu here, and it was very relaxing. We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest. ”Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended.”
